Questions
Asked before every first booking.
If yours isn't here, text us. We'd rather answer it once properly than have you guess.
Booking and scheduling
How far ahead do we need to book?
A quick wash is walk-in, so there is nothing to wait for. A full detail takes longer, so those tend to go out a week or two. If you're flexible on the day, we can often do better than that.
Do we need to stay while it's done?
You're welcome to wait for a quick wash — pull into the bay and we'll get to you. For a full detail, you can drop the car off and come back later; just let us know roughly when you'll return.
What if we need to cancel?
Quick washes are walk-in, so there's nothing to cancel. If you need to move a full detail appointment, just call and we'll set you up for another day.
Where exactly are you located?
3498 E Semoran Blvd in Apopka — right on State Road 436, the same road that runs southeast into Altamonte Springs.
At the shop
Is everything really done by hand?
Yes. No tunnel, no spinning brushes, no machine touches the paint. Gentle soap, wash mitts and a hand dry at the end.
Is a hand wash really better than the tunnel wash?
For the paint, yes. Tunnel brushes carry grit from the cars before yours, which is where swirl marks come from, and a tunnel never touches the inside. For a quick weekly rinse a tunnel membership is cheaper and we'll say so. Come here when you want the car properly clean.
Do we need an appointment for a wash?
No. Quick washes are walk-in — pull into the bay any time during opening hours and we'll take you in turn. A full detail is worth a call ahead so we can set aside the time.
What happens if it rains?
If it's raining at your start time we move you to the next open slot and nothing is charged. If a storm arrives mid-job we'll finish the interior under cover and come back for the outside at no extra cost. This is Central Florida. It's built into how we schedule.
Our apartment says no washing on site. Now what?
Then bring it to us instead — that's exactly why the shop exists. A lot of HOAs and apartment communities in Florida don't allow washing at home, so having a fixed spot to bring the car works well.
What if we're not happy with something?
Tell us before you leave and we'll fix it on the spot. If you notice something once you're home, bring it back and we'll make it right.
Prices and payment
Is the price on this site the price we pay?
Yes, once you've told us the vehicle size and picked any add-ons. If the car is far rougher than described when you bring it in, we'll tell you what it needs and what it costs before we start, never after.
Do you take a deposit?
Not right now. Nothing is charged until the car is finished. We confirm every booking by text instead.
How do we pay you?
Card, tap-to-pay or cash, when the work is done and you've seen the car.
Is there a discount for veterans or seniors?
Yes — 10% off for veterans, seniors and emergency response workers. Just mention it when you check in.
Is there a discount for two cars?
Bring both in the same visit and we will work them back to back so you only wait once. Ask when you arrive.
The work itself
How often should we have this done?
An Island Breeze or Aloha Shine every three or four weeks keeps a car from ever needing rescuing. A full detail once or twice a year handles the rest. If you park under oaks, lean toward the shorter interval.
Can you get pet hair out?
Yes, and it's an add-on because it genuinely takes extra time. Say so when you book and we'll allow for it.
Will you remove scratches?
The clay bar and hand-applied wax in Permanent Holiday lift bonded grime and bring the gloss back. Deep scratches need multi-stage correction, which belongs in a shop, and we'll say so rather than sell you something that won't work.
Do you do ceramic coatings?
Not the two-year kind. A real coating wants a sealed bay and an overnight cure. The spray wax and the Permanent Holiday package are the honest version of paint protection here.
Pick a package, pick a day.
The form takes about a minute and there's no deposit. We'll email you to confirm the time, usually the same day.
